Hello, I'm Titilayo
Hi, my name is Titilayo Oshinowo, and I'm a junior at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, studying Software Engineering and User Experience.
I've always loved building things. Growing up in a small town outside of Albany, I had plenty of time and space to explore – whether that meant playing outside, tinkering with DIY projects, or, eventually, writing code. I started programming when I was 14, and I quickly fell in love with the field – not just the act of building, but the sheer range of things you could build. Software touches nearly everything, and that realization opened up a world of possibilities. Out of all of them, I found myself drawn to design and accessibility – the challenge of making technology not just work, but work for people, in ways that feel intuitive and inclusive.
Outside of coding, you'll usually find me drawing, going for a run, baking something new, playing the flute, or experimenting with whatever DIY project has caught my attention that week.
One day, I'd love to build technology that makes a real, lasting difference in people's lives – software that's not just functional, but genuinely usable and accessible to the people who need it most. I'm still figuring out exactly what that looks like, but I know it lives somewhere at the intersection of software engineering, UX, and accessibility. Until then, I'll keep learning, creating, and staying curious about whatever comes next.
